The Museum of Film Legends attracts visitors with its unique collections of statues and figurines from iconic Hollywood films

Film Legends Museum is one of the largest collections of movie characters and sculptures in the world. This pop culture project, created by the well-known Czech collector and curator Johnny Wolf, is celebrating its 10th anniversary since its founding in the Czech Republic. He has been building his film collection for nearly 15 years, and what started as a private collection has gradually transformed into a unique pop culture project that is now open to the public.

The collection currently features over 3,500 items – ranging from detailed collectible statues to life-sized figures. Visitors have the chance to meet heroes and villains from the most famous movie franchises, including Predator, Alien, Terminator, Star Wars, Marvel, DC Comics, The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Planet of the Apes, Jurassic Park, and many more. Here, you can also find fairytale characters and iconic movie scenes crafted with great attention to detail, bringing the atmosphere of each story to life.

The exhibits are spread across several cities throughout the Czech Republic – in Prague, Poděbrady, Kutná Hora, Kroměříž, and Český Krumlov. Each location offers a slightly different thematic perspective, such as the Kutná Hora exhibit, which mainly focuses on science fiction and is one of the largest of its kind. Many of the exhibits were created in limited editions, and some pieces are displayed exclusively within this project.

Film Legends Museum is not just a typical museum. In addition to thousands of exhibits, visitors can also encounter live movie characters throughout the year, enhancing the filmic atmosphere. This makes it a great experience not just for movie fans but also for families with children and visitors from around the globe.

Special Events for the Museum’s Anniversary

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the museum, there will be a special event for families with children. From March 22 to 27, 2026 , children under 18 years old can enter for free when accompanied by their parents. This offer is valid at all branches throughout the Czech Republic. The exhibits are open every day, including weekends and holidays, showcasing thousands of intricately crafted items as well as unique collectible pieces.
