Easter Delights Await: Explore the Sychrov Castle Market

This year, the courtyard of Sychrov State Castle is excited to welcome the traditional Easter market on 28 and 29 March 2026. At this event, vendors will offer a variety of Czech products related to the upcoming Christian Easter celebrations. Traditional markets are not just about showcasing crafts and selling typical goods; they also feature a vibrant schedule of folk performances. This cultural program will be held in the castle courtyard on both days. Within the Court of Honour, guests can explore 120 stalls featuring handmade items (like Easter whips, decorated eggs, wreaths, candles, glassware, ceramics, and local specialties), while about twenty food stands will be set up in the castle park, which will also have a covered area with seating. If the weather turns bad, the organizers might adjust the opening hours and schedule. Please note that the following rules apply to the markets: dogs and bicycles are not permitted. The entrance fee for the market will be a standard of 100 CZK; however, children under 5 can enter without charge.

During the Easter market , the castle grounds can only be accessed by purchasing a ticket for the Easter Market at Sychrov Castle event. This admission ticket includes a free tour of the castle chapel, which will be beautifully decorated for Easter. Regular tours of the castle will be available on these days only for groups that have made prior reservations.
