Rock for People
In 2026, the well-established Votvírák festival will kick off with Rock for People, happening in Hradec Králové from 10 to 14 June. This event will feature major artists from around the world, including Gorillaz, Limp Bizkit, Bring Me The Horizon, and Halsey, with the legendary Iron Maiden closing the festival on June 14. This innovative festival is dedicated to social and environmental accountability. It aims to be accessible for everyone, plants trees, promotes eco-friendly transportation, and emphasizes sustainable food options and green facilities.
Votvírák 2026
Traditionally one of the first and largest festivals of the new festival season, Votvírák is set for 18 to 21 June 2026 at the airport located in Milovice, Central Bohemia. New organizers are currently working on finalizing the program for the festival. The 2025 event has been shifted to the dates this year. Tickets purchased last year will need to be reactivated.
Metronome Prague 2026
The upcoming Metronome Prague festival is ready to sweep into action on 19–21 June. This festival aims to cater to music lovers of all ages and preferences. Kontakt Fest in Frenštát
In the beautiful setting of Horečky Forest Park, located on the border of Frenštát pod Radhoštěm and Trojanovice, the lifestyle festival Kontakt Fest will return on 13 and 14 June. This festival offers attendees the chance to meet well-known figures, both on and off stage. Expect amazing concerts, interviews with notable personalities from various fields, as well as culinary showcases featuring top chefs. Some of the musical acts lined up include Jiří Korn, Vypsaná fixa, and Čechomor.
The Mighty Sounds Festival in Tábor
The Mighty Sounds festival is a distinctive three-day music event that occurs annually in Tábor. In 2026, it will take place from 26 to 28 June. This festival predominantly highlights genres such as punk, ska, reggae, punk rock, rockabilly, rock ’n’ roll, hardcore, indie rock, and closely related styles.
With over 130 performers spread across four live stages and four DJ stages, the program is always packed. The festival also features theatre in a dedicated theatre tent, along with a growing assortment of other supporting activities such as football tournaments, footvolley, a skate ramp, graffiti art, and more. As for the lineup? Bands like Pennywise, Agnostic Front, The Baboon Show, The Exploited, The Selecter, Non Servium, and many more will be performing.
Masters of Rock in Vizovice
Masters of Rock stands as the largest international open-air rock festival in the Czech Republic, and is regularly organized and expanded in Vizovice near Zlín. This festival predominantly showcases international rock and metal bands. Celebrating its thirteenth year in 2026, the festival will happen from 16 to 19 July. Attendees can expect an extraordinary lineup, with Helloween, In Flames, The Rasmus, and Dirkschneider already confirmed to perform.
The multi-genre festival Colours of Ostrava
The festival, preparing for its 23rd year, Colours of Ostrava is set to occur from 15 to 18 July in the distinct industrial area of Dolní Vítkovice, located in Ostrava. The extensive program will span multiple stages, showcasing over 350 program items. Attendees can look forward to performances from more than 100 local and international bands, alongside discussions at the international Meltingpot forum, as well as theatre performances, workshops, film screenings, art installations, and various other activities. Some of the artists expected at Colours of Ostrava 2026 include LP, Twenty One Pilots, Harry Strange, Kateřina Marie Tichá & Band Jeez, Paris Paloma, Sofian Medjmedj, Ondřej Ruml, and many others.
Czech and Moravian Castles CZ
The festival Castles CZ stands out as one of the most significant cultural and social gatherings in the Czech Republic. Individual events of the festival are held near cultural landmarks, and a Saturday ticket grants access to tours of the castles’ permanent exhibits. The beloved series will run from 10 July to 29 August in 2026.
The festival kicks off on July 10 and 11 at Točník, continues with events on July 17 and 18 at Kunětická hora, then moves to Švihov Castle on July 24 and 25, wrapping up at Hluboká nad Vltavou on July 31 and August 1. Music will also fill Veveří Castle on August 7 and 8, followed by Hradec nad Moravicí on August 14 and 15. The penultimate event will be at Bouzov Castle on August 21 and 22, with the final concerts on August 28 and 29 at Bezděz. So far, early performances confirmed include Daniel Landa, Rybičky 48, Mirai, Mig 21, and Trautenberk.

The 32nd edition of the Benátská! festival is already in the works, scheduled to take place between 23–26 July on the sun-kissed lawns of the Vesecký Sports Complex in Liberec. Over the years, this festival has hosted a list of amazing stars who have graced its stage. The organizers are committed to maintaining a clean environment during the festival, which has won them the accolade of “Clean Festival” multiple times. So, who can you expect to see in 2026? The music festival TrutnOFF will occur around the commemorative date of the Soviet occupation of Czechoslovakia in 1968, or just a few days before, from 13–16 August. Enjoy this festival in a picturesque location surrounded by trees and grasslands at Trutnov’s Bojiště. This rugged location, steeped in natural beauty, became the cornerstone of the festival, breathing new life into it over the years. Last year saw over sixty diverse bands perform, and we can expect even more exciting acts in 2026.
