. The picturesque historic city center of Úštěk featured prominently. In addition, significant scenes were shot at Ratboř Castle near Kolín, particularly for the winter segments of the film. The crew also ventured into the Žatec region, renowned for its Czech hops and the rich heritage of beer-making.
The film ‘What Happens at Night,’ slated for a 2027 release by Apple Original Films, revolves around an American married couple grappling with the slow deterioration of their relationship. The stellar cast includes DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Mads Mikkelsen, and Patricia Clarkson.

During his time in the Czech Republic in spring 2026, DiCaprio, who notably sported a moustache for his role, was frequently spotted in Prague’s city center.
