Lipno Prepares for an Action-Packed Summer: Discover the Exciting New Attractions!
The Forest Kingdom has been brought back to life in a fun and exciting way. This is the biggest forest playground in all of Šumava , featuring not just climbing structures among the trees, but now it also includes a marble run, where marbles navigate along creatively designed tracks that present various challenges, moving from higher to lower spots. The extensive rope courses look like pathways for squirrels, martens, badgers, or foxes. Children can explore the secrets hiding deep in the forest, learn how to identify different types of trees, and discover the qualities of wood. They will also learn to recognize animal tracks and gain an understanding of how life in the forest works. The Šumava Forest Kingdom is truly impressive. Besides the unique climbing frames, cable cars, tree towns, rope courses, and a maze, there is also a giant trampoline set in the forest.
Before you head to the Forest Kingdom, you might want to check out the Tree Top Walk, which is a well-known attraction in Lipno. A combined discounted ticket works perfectly for visiting both attractions and is available for purchase either online or at the venue. To reach both the Trail and the Kingdom, you can take a stroll through the forest or hop on the Tree Top Walk Bus, which has a stop located just below the Tree Top Walk tower and very near the entry to the Forest Kingdom. Another convenient option is the cable car, which, like the Stezkabus, operates directly from the central parking area.
Skill Centre or Stellplatz
A brand new Skill Centre has opened in Lipno for the summer season, right in Foxpark. Young cyclists can try their skills on various obstacles, different terrains, and learn basic cycling techniques here. The centre organizes technique lessons for both kids and adults. Cyclists will also find an expanded choice of bikes at Intersport Rent, which now includes gravel bikes from the renowned Czech brand Pells. With the option to book online, visitors can easily check the availability of equipment and plan their day more efficiently.
Another exciting development for the 2026 season is the introduction of stellplatz, which will be situated in the central car park and will provide water and electricity access for caravans.

Interesting summer events at Lipno
The second edition of KolemKolem Fest will be happening from Friday 5th to Sunday 7th June 2026 and will focus on cycling, family fun, delicious local food, concerts, and evening celebrations.
An exciting race called Pells Beach Race will take place on Lipno beach for both individuals and relay teams; kids will participate in the Lipno Beach Sprint along with festival games such as Bike ride with Fox the Fox and other fun competitive activities. The schedule will also include Road Classics rides, a group ride around the reservoir with the VIF Cycling Team on Sunday, as well as guided climbs with Richard Gasperotti or Mišo Kolář, and delicious local food options. There will also be the Horsefeathers exhibition, the CzechCrunch zone, live concerts, and a chilled atmosphere by the water.
Moreover, visitors to Lipno can anticipate events such as the Indian Riders Fest, happening from 18 to 21 June 2026, the sporty ČEZ Lipno Sport Festival, scheduled for 14 to 23 August 2026, or the exciting running event around Lipno, Li.t.r., which is set for 19 September 2026.
