Tereza Hofmanová Takes the Helm at CzechTourism – Shaping the Future of Czech Travel!

Tereza Hofmanová is stepping into the leadership role at CzechTourism just as the government prepares to transfer the agency from the Ministry for Regional Development to the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Despite this change, CzechTourism continues to execute all its essential activities both within Czechia and internationally.

“Tereza Hofmanová has extensive knowledge of CzechTourism and the tourism sector. I am confident that her years of experience will ensure the continuity of the agency’s operations and key activities during this transition,” states Minister for Regional Development Zuzana Mrázová​.

Tereza Hofmanová brings over 15 years of experience in tourism and has been a part of the CzechTourism team since 2010. She holds a degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from the University of Economics in Prague. Since 2019, she has been leading the Czech Convention Bureau, a platform that unites key players in convention and incentive tourism in Czechia and represents the country in international markets. Her contributions extend to the Strategic Alliance of European National Convention Bureaus, where she has focused on promoting international cooperation in tourism. Tereza is fluent in English, French, Spanish, and German. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and helping others enhance their language skills.

I aim to ensure the agency operates at full capacity, progresses with its ongoing projects, and remains a dependable partner for both regions and the tourism sector as a whole. Together with my colleagues, we will continue to build on the existing successes, enhance Czechia’s appeal as a desirable tourism destination, and support the growth of inbound tourism,” adds Tereza Hofmanová, Director of the Czech Tourism Authority – CzechTourism​.

Tereza Hofmanová takes over from František Reismüller, who has led CzechTourism since November 2023.
