Nový Smíchov Shopping Center

Nový Smíchov shopping centre is a modern mall located in the heart of Anděl, easily reached by metro line B and many tram lines.

The huge shopping centre filled with 150 different shops designed by architects from the Prague-based D3A architectural office has everything from clothing shops such as H&M, Benetton, Jackpot, Marks & Spencers, and Zara, to shoe stores, speciality shops, cosmetics shops such as Yves Rocher, Sephora, L’Occitane, and more, as well as a large Tesco and Cinema City multiplex movie theatre. The mall also houses the top of the line Holmes Place gym, a favourite of expatriates and local celebrities. There are several shops selling infant and kid’s fashion and accessories such as Chicco, Zara Kids, and Au Pays des Mimis, as well as plenty of educational toys and books, making this a parent child-friendly shopping centre. A food court is located close to the multiplex theatre. It has restaurants ranging from the ubiquitous McDonalds and KFC to more interesting delights from around the world, such as running sushi, Chinese food, steaks, Greek food, Vegan cuisine, Middle Eastern cuisine, and much more. Shops and services are opened Monday through Sunday from 9 a.m. till 9 p.m., the Tesco hypermarket from 7 a.m. till midnight, and restaurants from 11 a.m. till 11 p.m.  The only warning, Nový Smíchov tends to be quite busy. There is also a huge area for parking in the basement, free for customers (you can park up to 3 hours for free).
